John studied Music at Southampton University, before embarking on a career including Jazz, Cabaret work, Musical Theatre, and Film. Recent work in theatre includes: Mamma Mia - international tour, Cabaret - Lyric theatre, Fame - Aldwych theatre & UK tour, Tell Me On A Sunday - UK tour, Annie - UK tour, Shoes - Sadlers Wells, Jersey Boys - Prince Edward theatre, Hair - Gielgud theatre.
He also works as a keyboard programmer, both for theatre productions internationally and also having worked as an instrument demonstrator for both Yamaha & Roland.
John has recently been working on the Captain America movie, both as an Orchestrator and Conductor, and also has two cameos on screen. Other recording work includes music for TV shows, adverts and recording both with his own Jazz trio, and for other artists.
John also works as a Musical Supervisor for companies providing entertainment to the cruise and leisure industry. As such, John has coached singers, and provided orchestrations & click tracks for various companies, including: P&O Cruises, Fred Olsen, Thomson, Airtours, and also to Warners hotels in the UK.
